SUPRISE, SUPRISE..!!!

Monday morning & the first meeting with the architect, I'm extremly nervous, but at the same time exited, because I will finally see my drawings come to life for a change or so I thought...!

The architect briefed me on a project out in St. James, real design thinking & a challange.
I pulled out all the stops and came up with a few ideas that blew the architect away & we discussed, changed & ex-change ideas through the entire week & followed a great process.

It's friday, the day I got the surprise of my life. The architect called me , said He wants to talk about the St. James project.
He said "Garth, I really like your input, ambition & ideas, but the plans, for this project are already drawn up, approved by council & the project is on its feet.

YES!, it was just a test run to see what I can do, but I must say this test got me psyched for the projects to come.

PATIENCE (Name of the game)..!!!

New project also in St. James but this time for real. This week was a bit quiet, I have been working on 3 houses requiring extension, but I'm still waiting for that BIG 1...

Today is the first online submission. An hour in the patiently process & so far so good.
Successfully uploaded, now I can enjoy my weekend.

 DEADLINES

Another friday, another week & it was a bit more exiting than last week. I had a serious of deadlines, I had to get these drawings ready for council.

                            SUMMER...

I really thought the summer is over, but I woke up this morning & saw the most beautiful day Eva.
Another submission day & I'm running mad to get these stuff scanned in & getting it uploaded.

Had a meeting with the architect & discussed my drawings & I had a few mistakes on them & had to fix it up before continuing, but Hey! that's the point of this year, to expend ones knowledge in the architectural field & learn.

Friday  25/03/2011
WOW..!!!

Another quiet week, something small to do here & there (boundary walls, renovations, small extensions) Still waiting for that, WOW!! was I part of that?

Friday  01/04/2011
HECTIC..!!!

Meeting the architect & was briefed on 5 more projects for the week. It's Wednesday & I'm being pushed on 2 of these projects & thought this week will never end but hey, I survived & I'm walking in to the weekend.

Friday  08/04/2011
WEAK START..!!!

This week started BAD!
It is monday, online portfolio submission & sumhow this thing decides not to upload & after a long day of struggle, I finally manage to upload my portfolio at 11pm & now I can breath.

Work, I finally filled out a council submission form but did not submit aything myself yet, maybe next time.

Friday  15/04/2011
GOOD  START..!!! (but what can go wrong,
will go wrong - Murphy's Law)

It's funny, in my first year & Foundation Course I drew up plans for my lecturers & was assessed for it, but this week my employer told me that 5 of my projects, that was submitted to council, was approved & waiting to happen...!! Awesome

On thursday, I had a minor accident on the corner of the "Tokara" turn off, a wine estate in the Helshoogte pass outside Stellenbosch, yeah! not my day of the week...!

It's weekend, once again & I have a tenpin bowling match & some pool shooting waiting for me, so I'm off see next wee... CHEERS!!

Friday  22/04/2011
QUIETNESS

This week was a bit quiet. I was briefed on 3 projects, where 1 of them has no history (Existing plans) at Council& I had to measure the entire site & the existing house (Inside & out)... quite a challenge, for a change I could take my time...!!

Have a Gr8 weekend guys!

Friday  29/04/2011
GRUMPY  YOUNG  MAN...(LOL)!!

My employer called me & scold me out for minor mistakes I made on 1 plan which I had to fix & learned from my mistakes, after all that is the point of this practical year, LEARNING, EXPLORING & GROWING. :")

Friday  06/05/2011
REVIT  HERE  WE  COME >>>

I was asked to design something in 3D & I only know google sketch-up but the program does not have all the facilities to fininsh a project within a scadualed time & was forced, by myself, to learn Revit Architecture, cause I heard it was way better than Sketch-up.
I started looking at Revit designs on Youtube & must say, I L I I I I KE...Lol!! I love the "walk through" feature where one can take a stroll through the entire design, inside & outside.

Friday  13/05/2011
NOT  THERE  YET_-_-_-

My employer is still trying to get the Revit program in hand & the right 1, cause He called me & said that there are about 5/6 different Revits on the market & He did'nt want to pay a serious amount on the wrong 1.

In the mean time, I'm going strong on AutoCAD & growing by the day.

Friday  20/05/2011
I'M  WAITING...

Going into the 3rd week & still no Revit & I so badly want to learn the program.

Busy with another single residential house & somehow my windows in plan does not line up with my windows in elevations, but sorted it out & now the weekend can start...!! Cheers

Friday  27/05/2011
WHAT  ARE  YOU  WAITING  FOR..?

I was asked to draw out plans of 2 existing houses at council. Both houses are located in Stellenbosch & need extensions & additions...
I can get use to this.

Friday  03/06/2011
EXCITEMENT....!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could'nt get all my turns this week & had to ask for an extention on my Tech work deadlines & was told to upload & update everything by the 10th of June, Yep next week, will be a CRAZY 1.....!!! I love Excitement..

Friday  10/06/2011
WHAT  A  WEEK...!!!

On Monday I was briefed on a project (a church) in Kayamandi, a community just outside Stellenbosch, that needs extensions and a Conference Hall. In the afternoon the architect and I went to analyze the site and to see where exactly everything will be built and whether we will have enough space within the building line. On Tuesday I drew the existing drawings (dwg) onto AutoCAD, this took quite some time. On Wednesday I was still busy redrawing, because I had to return to the site to make sure and noticed that there are walls infront of me which were not showing on the plans. On Thursday I started with all the extensions and new out building and completed the drawings for the briefing with the client, this took place in the evening. On Friday I was briefed on the changes that need to be made, toilets had to be switched, kitchen in certain areas had to be made smaller to accommodate the new hall inside the building line and also to cut cost.I have to complete these drawings by 5pm...wish me luck!

Friday  17/06/2011
READY  TO  GO!
On Monday I was briefed  on a new project in Paarl where an existing house needs 3 new Bedrooms, 1 with an En-Suite and the existing Living Area needs to be made bigger to accommodate a new Diningroom. The architect also wanted me to prepare council drawings for the church I was working on last week. I successfully re-drew the Paarl house on AutoCAD on Monday afternoon.
On Tuesday I had to complete the drawings for the church before 6pm, because the drawings had to be submitted on Wednesday morning. I made all the changes to the drawings as the client has requested , specifications on each and every drawing (sections, elevations, site plans & roof plans), met my deadline and emailed this to the architect. On Wednesday I had to work on the house in Paarl as the architect had a meeting with the client early the next morning. On Thursday I received a call from the architect after the meeting he had with the client and briefed me on all the changes the client requested. I completed with the changes at approximately 3am and emailed the drawings to the architect and He said: 'Tomorrow is another day...'
Today I have to prepare these drawings for council approval, it's 3pm and I am done. I successfully emailed this to the architect and now I am on my way to an interview for a possible job at 'Marcus Smit Architects' in Gordon's Bay.

Friday  24/06/2011
GOOD  NEWS  is GooD.....!!
IF  IT'S  FOR  YOU
Successful interview with Mr Smit on Friday and he said he'll contact me on Wednesday...I am holding thumbs...
On Monday the architect gave me 5 projects that he had already started working on that he now need me to complete and prepare for the client and council approval, these projects kept me busy until Thursday. On Wednesday Marcus Smit emailed me to inform me that I got the job for which I interviewed on Friday. He made me an offer which I excepted and he asked me to start on Thursday, 30 June 2011.
On Thursday my employer briefed me on a new house, from foundation, for an engaged couple.
Today we went to the site and only 1/4 of the site is cleaned and the other 3/4 is still vegetation and the site is the most steepest site I have ever seen. I took a lot of pictures and we analysed the site for about 3 hours and the architect explained to me what exactly he has in mind - to step 3 floors in the sloped site, which is a very cool idea. On Saturday the architect emailed me the site plan which he received from the land surveyor and the architect asked me to start with the drawings on Sunday to be completed by Wednesday, before I start my new job at 'Marcus Smit Architects' on Thursday.

NEW  JOB  HERE  I  COME!

On Monday morning the architect discussed all the dimensions, walls, rooms, windows, etc. with me and I started working on the floor plans and completed it by 6:30pm.
On Tuesday morning I completed everything on the plans (dimensions, specifications, etc.) and started with the 6 sections.
On Wednesday morning at 12pm I completed all 6 sections in detail, with specifications and finally started with the elevations, once again, I surprised myself and completed everything at approximately 8:30pm. I met my deadline and emailed it to my employer. I am off to bed, tomorrow I commence at my new job!
It's 6:30am Thursday morning, time to wake-up, I start work at 8am. I must say, I was extremely nervous. I arrived on time and met Ruan Van Vuuren, who obtained his B-Tech Degree in Architecture at CPUT, he will also be my collegue. He familiarized me with the office and showed me where everything is. I met the 'big boss', Marcus Smit, again and Ansu who is our secretary. Yep, it is just the 4 of us in the working area. I was shown where my desk is and started working on cabinet and cupboard changes to an existing dwelling on AutoCAD 2002, it was very difficult for me to work on that version.
It's Friday, on time again, Ruan showed me how the printers in the office work and I plotted to these printers successfully. After break I was asked to colour 2 sets of drawings which consisted of 4 pages each for the council.

Red - walls (sections)
Blue - window & door frames
Black - glass
Brown- timber (section & electrical)
Green - concrete (section)
Yellow - brick work (elevation)
Green & Blue - drainage (clean & dirty water)
It's now 5pm and I am off to enjoy my weekend!

MY  SWEET  FAREWELL...!!

On Monday I plotted, printed and coloured another 2 sets of drawings for the council and learned how to fill out submission forms for the council, but I am not yet in the position to sign these forms off for I am not registered. Everytime we printed drawings it must be written in the project file and the client has to pay for all printing done on their project, so I finally did some admin.
On Tuesday morning I was asked to design a 3D model on Google Sketch-Up for Marcus' presentation. On Wednesday was my last day at 'Marcus Smit Architects' as travelling became a problem, luckily for me I have not signed my contract yet. On my last day I plotted, printed and coloured more drawings for the council and made a record of this in the client's file. After lunch I did more changes to existing plans and before I know it, it was 5pm. My employer paid me for the 5 days I worked and said: 'I am welcome to apply again for a job at 'Marcus Smit Architects' after my studies...' and I left on a positive note.
On Wednesday evening I contacted my previous employer to inform him that I no longer work for Marcus Smit and on Thursday he said I must apply the client changes to the new house, to the drawings I send him last.
On Friday I finished, double checked and send it back to my employer.

"STAY - AWAKE - TIME"

On Monday I had a meeting with the architect at Council in Stellenbosch, where I drew plans of existing houses in Highbury Park, Kuilsriver that need extensions and a new first floor.
On Tuesday I was busy drawing and making the changes the client requested and drawing up the new first floor with all the necessary engineering notes along with the new elevations with 2 new sections and I emailed it back to the architect, because he had a meeting with the client that evening.
On Thursday morning the architect came to my house with a layout of the drawn plans and marked with a red pen what changes need to be made and certain areas that need to be changed into rooms and some ground floor changes was just to change some rooms back to the way it was. I had to complete the drawings by 6pm, because the employer had a meeting with the client at 8pm.
On Friday my employer came by my home again and gave me a compliment on the drawings I did for him the day before, he said the client was very impressed. He also then briefed me on a new project in Somerset-West and said I can start with that on Monday.
We have a "Survivor Stay-Awake" at Youth tonight...Stay-Awake here I come!

Friday  22/07/2011

RELAXING  IS  GOOD>...!!!

On Monday I successfully redrew the existing drawings of the Somerset-West house over onto AutoCAD and I did the extensions with it's specifications and emailed this back to the architect by 5pm. He called me afterwards and asked me to do window scaduals and an eletrical layout of the 'new house' (with the ugly slope) and he needed it by Tuesday at 5pm, because he has a meeting with the client at 8pm, so I had to be quick. It was my fisrt window scadual for this employer and I completed it on time. On Tuesday at 5pm I emailed it to the architect and asked him whether I can take  Wednesday & Thursday off to update my blog and he said it's in order. He called me on Wednesday to advise me that there were a few errors on the window scadual that he fixed, like I said it was my first window scadual for him, but my electrical layout was perfect; he said. So I had a nice, relaxing Wednesday & Thursday off.
This morning my employer called me and asked me whether I am fully rested and told me he will be picking me up in about 20 minutes to go measure a building that has no plans at the council, he said there's no rush, so I can finish the drawings on Monday, after I double checked my blog.

Friday  29/07/2011

BACK  IN  TIME...!!

This week I was briefed on a building that has no plans at council, therefore the entire building had to be measured up and the plans reproduced. When I met the architect on site I saw it was the same building where I use to hang out and play pool and games when I was younger. The building was succesfully measured up & the drawings was reproduced & I emailed the dwg. to the architect. On Wednesday I was briefed on a project out in Somerset West, an existing stoep must be converted into a new braai area. By thursday I finished all the design work on the braai area & finished all the drawings & shoot the dwg. off to the architect. On friday the architect foned me to update me on the client changes to the braai area & I updated the plans. Weekend here I come...!!!

Friday  05/08/2011

BUZZzzY  BUZY...!!

It is finally friday, What a week...!!
On monday I was briefed on a project in Highbury, Kuilsriver. A serious extension on ground floor & a new first floor. On monday & teusday I went to the site to see what must be done where & to check the boundary measurements & then I shoot off to council to double check the building line for that area. On wednesday I started producing all the plans to get it to the architect before 6:30pm for a client meeting. Thursday I got a call from the archi. to update me on the changes to the project. I made all the necessary changes the client wants & emailed it back to the architect, He is a happy-chappy & I'm glad & the client approved. Today I got a call from my second employer, Harry, we met & he briefed me on a project out in St. James, Cape town & a project in Elgin, Grabouw. I finished the 1 today & emailed it to the architect, who foned me a couple of minutes later & we descussed the few errors on the dwg. nothing major. The other 1 must wait till tomorrow.

I had an AWESOME!! week at Tech. in my block 2, it was nice seeing all my buddies & lecturers again, after.... January YOH!! talk about "LONG  TIME  NO  SEEN". Unfortunately  our feeldtrip was cancelled dew to rain, I was realy looking forward to see the Greenpoint stadium. The presentations went very well & I must congratulate all who presented in my group, for the presentations was weel prepared & very formal. Today my Home-boy Tiago gave us aq compiled slideshow on his experience around Europe, I am Jealous & after that it was "Bye-Bye" & "So long" for our Block 2 has reached the END...!! Till next block guys.

After I got home from Tech. my second employer gave me a suprising call to ask me if I am available for the next month for he wants to put me on a project that is 7 storeys high that requires renovations & extensions. I said, I'm IN for it's a good learning experience.

Friday  19/08/2011

Somthing  SMALL  --  Something  BIG

On monday I was given a design exercise where I had to design a 2 bedroom additional building. The site is around the corner from where I stay & I checked it out... Now I have a clear Picture!! On tuesday I started designing & emailed the proposal to the architect & he liked it & I'm proud of myself. On wendesday I was briefed on a small project out in Somerset-West, an extension to existing bedrooms & kitchen. I finished all the drawings & emailed it to the archi. he called me to inform me of some errors & also to tell me that 2 of my plans, that I did a month ago, was approved by council. On thursday I was briefed on a project in Tennantville, Stellenbosch, an existing houses' plans need to be updated & an extension to the back. The dwg. is done & emailed. The client called me on friday & explained the changes she want on the extended section. I finished the changes informed the architect about it & send the drawings through to him to double check. Now I can have my weekend... Chow!!

Friday  26/08/2011

The  ONE!  I waited for

Over the weekend, Harry (My second employer) foned me to ask if I can meet him on site, where I will also meet my biggest project of this entire year, The ONE, he asked me to help him with, a week ago. The project is out in Woodstock, Cape Town. I am extremely exited & scared for I am man alone who will be producing the plans. At 9:00am, monday morning, I met the architect on site, where 3 high rise buildings staired me in the face. The front building is a 7 storey with a 3 storey extended to it & we discovered that there is a 5 storey building at the back & is connected to the front building via enclosed Walkways, but this back building is on a different erf. & council has no history of the erf. which means the building with its floors had to be measured up. The architect said I can use any 2 people to help me only measure the buildings & he will organise suitable payment. On tuesday we started measuring & had to explain to every employee why & what we are doing there. Day 1 complete the ground floor of the front building is measured up. The evening, Harry foned gave me a call & said he only wants the outline of the buildings with its columns, So I said COOL..!!
On wednesday me & my team were back seeing what's on first, second & third floor & updated everything. On thursday & friday I took leave & took it easy...!!

Friday  02/09/2011

S P R I N G    T I M E...!

This week was a repeat of last week.
On monday I went back to site to measure up the rest of the front building & finished round about 1pm & started measuring up the back buildings' ground floor to see where all the columns are & where the fire escape stairs are & where the lift motor shaft is. The back building has a private parking area below NGL. I got home from site the afternoon & started producing a layout if the ground floor of the back building so that I can have a copy for the following floors. On tuesday I went back to site & finished checking the floors till 3rd floor & put in all the supporting walls. On wednesday I finished the back building & took leave for thursday & friday.

Friday  09/09/2011

HECTIC   STUFF...!!

This week was a very busy week. On Monday the architect called me & said that the client is pushing him for Elevations of all the buildings, so I had to move. I started updating all the plans with its own information. On tuesday I finished the floors & started producing the elevations. On wednesday I was still hard busy with the elevations, puting in the detail. On thursday & friday I was still busy with the back buildings' elevations & it feels like I am drawing & drawing but I'm getting nowhere...!!(angry) Elevations to be continued on monday.!

Friday  16/09/2011

FINALLY ...!!

It is monday morning and I got an early call from the architect to hear how far I am with the elevations, I said I'm almost done. I sparked with the elevations and got stuck with the second last elevation, of the back building because my floor heights did not add up. On tuesday I finally finished all elevations and emailed the dwg. back to him. On wednesday and thursday I prepaired the drawings for council submission (Colouring the drawings) and today I met with the architect to discuss the plans over coffee, he was impressed so I'm off to have a gr8 weekend...!!

Friday  23/09/2011

HERE  WE  GO...0o!!

On monday I went to site to double check all my measurements and updated the drawings, just a few measurements I misplaced, nothing major. On tuesday the architect foned me, to inform me that the building is still under financial negotiations and he did not want me to hang around the building and I still need to measure up all internal walls of both buildings and that will have to wait till further notice. In the meantime I finished off and double checked 3 projects that Harry (my second employer) already started on and those projects kept me busy until today.
Friday  30/09/2011
HOME  TOWN''.!..1!

While I was still waiting for Harry (my second employer) to come back to me, my other emlployer foned me to ask me to measure up a building in Pniel ("My home town). On monday morning I quickly  measured up everything, I got back home and started drawing the plans. The client wanted an "As Built" plan of the house, so on tuesday I finished the existing Elevations, roof plan and did anexisting section and sended the drawing off to the architect, who had a meeting with the owners later that day. On wednesday my employer foned me and briefed me on the clients extensions. On thursday I finished the drawing and emailed it back to him, his impressed. Today he foned me to ask me if I can keep monday open for we need to measure up a house in Raithby, Stellenbosch.... weekend here Garthy come...!!Lol

Friday  07/10/2011

RAITHBY  HERE  WE  COME..!!

The client has just moved in and council did not have any existing plans on this house so we had to measure up and the client was pushing us, or should I say me. Monday morning we measured up and we got back to stellenbosch and popped in to council to submit last weeks house in Pniel, we are holding thumbs for the plans to be approved without any amendments, because the church in Kayamandi was not approved dew to small amendments I had to make and after I made them the plans went through successfuly. When I got home I moved with the floor plans and on tuesday I was still hard busy. On wednesday I finallised the drawings and send it off to the architect. The architect had a meeting with them on thursday and they saw what things will look like and a few small changes and want a new boundary wall. Today I finished everything, changes, boundary wall section, elevations and now I am off to have a nice weekend.

Friday  14/10/2011
WORCESTER  HIER  KOM  Oz>...!!

Monday morning my employer foned me to ask if I can help him measure up a building on the 'Roalcore chicken Fram' in Klapmuts. The owners want to transform an existing building into a Lab. station. On tuesday we were back and finished and it is a project he will do by himself. Wednesday morning he foned me to tell me that the client from Riathby wants a new swimming pool, so I fixed the new swimming pool, with its section, in and shoot the dwg. off to the architect. Thursday morning the architect foned me to ask me to help him measure up a timber warehouse in WORCESTER and also to submit drawn up plans, for a proposed extension to an existing house in the area, at Worcester Council. While we were busy measuring, Harry (my second employer) foned me, out of the blue, to inform me that the financial negotiations has been settled and that I can go back to measure up the internal walls, when ever I had a chance. Lucky for me, my employer will not need me today so I decided to shoot off to Woodstock and get the internal walls measured up. What a day...! me and my measuring buddy went to measure up the front building's internal walls and all the people were very nice and gave there support, accept for this one old lady, can't believe she's in a working state, who gave me all my days...! Eish!! but luckily I managed to measure up the entire front building... Back building, next weeks worry, NOW Weekend""""

Friday  21/10/2011
WOODSTOCK  INDUSTRIAL  CENTRE
(that's all I have to say)>...!!

On monday morning me and my buddy shoots through to Woodstock Industrial Centre to mmeasure up the back buildings' internal walls and while I was busy I received a call from my employer and he wanted to know how far I am with the measuring and he wanted to know if it was possible if I can get the drawings updated for him on wednesday, so I said no prob. monday evening I finished measuring up and supprising enough, no one in the building gave me grieve infact they welcomed us with open arms. On teusday morning I started early with the updates and I sparked. On wednesday I still had to finish 2 more floors and I had to be at a funeral first and I told the architect about it, so he asked me if I will have the drawings done before 5o'clock because he had a meeting with the owners and I said yes because I was not planning to stay long because I had to finish. The funeral went on from 12am to 2pm and from 2pm to 3 and I foned the architect to let him know that I am still stuck at the funeral and he told me to relax, that the meeting has been posponed to 9am the next morning because the owner was not available and I had to finish the dwg's before 9am. I was relieved and spend more time with my family. We got home from the funeral at 5pm, I took a break and started finishing the drawings. I finished off the drawings at 12 and got it to him and asked him if I can take off thursday and friday to prepare for BLOCK 3 and he said it's Cool....................................!! See you all in BLOCK  3...........!!

Friday  28/10/2011
Make way for...BLOCK  3

Monday was realy great seeing all of you guys again & just chat on how everybody's work experience is going & some of you are realy working on awsome projects, keep doing your best, make us proud.
Teusdays' tests went kind of well, STW did not go the way I wanted it to go for I did not have the right chapters infront of me, so who ever is marking pretty plzzz be mercyful towards me... CTD went a bit better than anticipated so I am holding thumbs for both.
Wednesday was realy Cool going to the Greenpoint butanical garden... What a master piece. The seperated timber structures reflects & compliment the displayd bauty of all the variety of plants, the open air amphitheatre makes me think of my hub design & the granite water-feature toped off the journey as it leads one to the exit.
Thursday was our first day back in Grabouw after January, but this time it is to actualy build the designed project. Today all of us were in Grabouw, building, diging trenches, hammering, etc. Peter & John doing a great supervising job...!!

Friday  04/11/2011
BUILDING  TOWARDS  A
BETTER  FUTURE

So LonG...!!

On monday we were a bit early for the bus, so we pulled off on "Sir. Lowry's pass" to look at the view & to observe the greenery & to see how Somerset was covered with a blanket of clouds (What a beauty it was, to observe Gods' hand moving in His creation), we saw the bus climbing the pass on the otherside & we got it moving. We got dressed in our blue image & went to a team brief in the hall & then off to mixing the cement or what we would call "Daga". From teusday onwards we followed a great process as a team & in that process, without noticing, we grew as a group learning from each other in various ways. we also aducated ourselves in the building environment & in that experience, we grew a greater respect for all brick layers, plastering masters, etc... I want to thank the lecturers for giving us this opportunity to explore our design course in a prectical manner...it made me realise, drawing something on paper & to fisically built something are two different things. Thanks also for being part of the change.
Today was the cherry on the cake, for we handed 80% of the project over to the principle, next year is another year to continue & finish the other 20% (plz correct me if I'm wrong guys). The Dean of the Facilty of Informatics & Design along with the press was present at the small ceremony we had at the school & what an immosional afternoon it was... afterwards we had a nice braai, in the new braai area we built & then it was So Long & goodbye(Hugs)...!!

Friday  11/11/2011
MISSING  THE  TRIPS
TO  GRABOUW
On monday I realy missed the trips I made to Grabouw with my fellow classmates, the laughing, the stories we shared in the car got silenced and it was back to hard labour. My employer told me that they are busy building on his new house, just at the back of where I live & that he will be to busy this week. So he gave me a few projects, that he already started on & that he wanted me to finish off (a few sections & elevations). I finished off the projects late teusday afternoon, emailed it through & took it easy for the rest of the week or that is what I was asked to do...LoOoL!!

GoOgle  SKETCHUP  projects
(through the year)

I just want to share with you guys that I did work on 3 projects this year that required sketchup designs, unfortunately I can't share the sketchup slides with you for it is very confirdential. The one big project was subdevided & in each section I had to produce 3D designs for my second employers' presentations. The third project I did for my first employer & we designed a brand new house for a former cricket player & he wanted to see the finished product, so I designed the entire house on Sketchup. The owner said I could'nt use the sketchup design slides but gave me permission to use the AutoCAD dwg's for my portfolio.

I finished my final HUB design on GoOgle Sketchup, if you want to check it out click on the Hub tab.
